The planning process begins with you and your wishes for your family. My first concern is you and your family. My job is to help make sure that your plans for your loved ones come true.

My practice is limited to helping individuals and families plan their estates. I do this by meeting with you to discuss your family situation and how best to pass your assets on to your loved ones.

Why I make house-calls.

I came from a large family. I remember how much work it was for my mom to load all of us into the station wagon when it was time to visit the doctor. I always thought it would have made more sense for the doctor to hop in his car and come to our house.

With this in mind, I meet with my clients in their homes.  Many families have told me that my coming to them makes life easier particularly when a member of the family is elderly or has special needs. It is much easier and it makes more sense for me to hop in my car… well you get the idea.

My office is at the Southwest corner of Chicago in the Beverly area.  I do not expect you to come here. I am available to meet with you in your home.  I look forward to meeting you and I will be happy to talk with you about your particular situation.

What About Other Legal problems?

Often clients or their friends and family members have legal problems outside of my areas of practice. In these cases I help them to find an attorney who has the required skills and experience. More important though is my ability to match personalities. I have worked with many fine attorneys over the years and I try very hard to match the personality of the client with an attorney with whom they will feel comfortable.

Should the attorney’s office be near my home?

In today’s high tech world I could actually live in Tahitti and still keep in regular contact with most of my clients. Outside of the initial consultation and the execution of documents my physical location does not really matter. Most contacts are made by phone, email, or through the regular mail.

When possible I try to match you with an attorney who is located in your area but that is less critical than matching you with an attorney who has the required skills. If that attorney is flexible in their travel schedule and if they can get from Tahitti to your home on time for your meeting then I think you would agree it does not matter much how far away their office is located.

William Schaap. Attorney. Graduated from the University of Chicago Law School in 1964. Has been a practicing lawyer since then. A member of the bar of the State of New York and of the District of Columbia. Specialized in the 1970′s in military law. Practiced military law in Asia and Europe. later became the editor in chief of the Military Law Reporter in Washington for a number of years. In the 70′s and 80′s he was a staff counsel of the Center for Constitutional Rights in New York City. In the late 1980′s was an adjunct professor at John J. College of Criminal Justice of the City University of New York where I taught courses on propaganda and disinformation.
Since 1977 or ’78, in addition to being a practicing lawyer, was a journalist and a publisher and a writer specializing in intelligence-related matters and particularly their relationship to the media. For more than 20 years he has been the co-publisher of a magazine called the Covert Action Quarterly which particularly deals with reporting on intelligence agencies, primarily U.S. agencies but also foreign.
He published a magazine for a number of years called Lies Of Our Times which specifically was a magazine about propaganda and disinformation. Also he has been the managing director of the Institute for Media Analysis for a number of years. For about 20 years he was one of the principals in a publishing company called Sheraton Square Press that published books and pamphlets relating to intelligence and the media.
He has written dozens of articles on — particularly on media and intelligence and edited about seven or eight books on the subject. He has contributed sections to a number of other books and has had many of his articles, appear in other publications around the world including New York Times, Washington Post and major media outlets.

The National Security Council (NSC) of India is the apex agency looking into the political, economic, energy and strategic security concerns of India. It was established by the A B Vajpayee government on November 19, 1998, with Brijesh Mishra as the first National Security Advisor.
Prior to the formation of the NSC, these activities were overseen by the Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister.
Members

Besides the NSA, the Ministers of Defence, External Affairs, Home, Finance of the Government of India, and the Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission are members of the NSC. Other members may be invited to attend its monthly meetings, as and when required.
